Majuli Festival ( Assam)
With such calm and simple Assamese people, the celebrations are have to be sophisticated too. Therefore rejoicing takes place in a very common way, usually in open space. Bamboo sticks and banana leaves are used abundantly and rather than offering cooked food, nutrient such as sprouts, grams and fruits are offered during worship.
